NEWSLETTER #69 Easy Street The good life, as in "livin' on Easy Street". Also, a very funny movie starring Rodney Dangerfield. Remember "browsing...yeah, we're browsing"? However, young, single adults in Richmond know Easy Street as something else, something completely different. They know that Easy Street is THE place to meet other young, single, horny? adults. Plus, and best of all, it's where Wonderground is playing this Friday Night! Yes, Wonderground is back in town for their only Richmond appearance of the month this Friday, July 25th at Easy Street, and it's FREE. "Big deal", you say. "July's almost over. So what, plus the world curling championships are on." Well, then you're the type that shouldn't be around fun people anyway. For those of you who haven't seen the band in a while, get out of your climate-controlled hyperbaric chambers and live a bit. That means you, Simko, Jason/Jenna, Shane/Jen, Rhonda, Candace, TJ/Trixie, Nelson, Mara, Frank/Maria, Holicky, Aloma, Andi/Trevor, Sarah, Southalls, Dr. Kat, Kat/Steve, Jessica, Jeff, Mo, Larry, and Curly. Shemp, you're excused. The weather's supposed to be great, there's an outdoor patio (as opposed to an indoor one? Who the hell writes this crap!), plus, Bill will be at the door to greet you. Mainly because the place is so intimate that he has to play in the doorway. Wipe his forehead on your way in the door. To summarize, (if you've managed to keep reading, or is Springer back on?) that's Wonderground, live at Easy Street (which is actually Main St. and Stafford), this Friday night. Get a babysitter, rent a limo, put on that new thong, and get your ass there! 7/23/2003 |
