NEWSLETTER #100

Greetings from the 3rd rock from the Sun, although if you believe Al Gore, we’ve moved a bit closer. So, since summer’s arrived with a vengeance even Uma couldn’t surpass in “Kill Bill”, we at Wonderground decided that we would share some of our coolness with you sweaty Richmondites. Thus, we’ve decided to have one last summer blowout this Friday, July 7th at SinE Irish Pub, where we promise the breeze will be blowing on the deck, and the AC will be howling inside.

This is our last gig till SinE’s “Slightly more than approximately halfway to St. Patty’s Day” celebration in September, as Mrs. Devitt’s got a sprog to drop, and Pauly must learn how to change nappies again. Plus, Jamey’s got to finish reviewing every available contractor in the Richmond area to see if they have any idea how to find Amelia Co. Virginia. So, whereas Brent’s got tons of time on his hands, Wonderground will be taking yet another break to “work on their novel”. I mean second album, CD, LP, cassette, 8-track, whatever.

So…in summary, get your collective selves to SinE this Friday (9:30 would be GREAT!), and sweat it out on the dance floor instead of contributing to global warming by driving to the mall. Plus, the new Superman movie sucks anyway, at least according to Bill.
